Oh how I wish my orthodontist had "fiddled" with my bite, rather than saying Yep they look better than at the start.

Currently wearing Michigan splint, and having my occlusion sorted out (which hopefully will also lead to less tension in my neck & shoulders)

I would have been very happy to wear elastics on my braces..

In actuality the reason most people resort to "DIY" dentistry is because they can NOT afford the very steep prices of going to a dentist. Yesterday I went to see my dentist and he told me I NEED a crown. I never had braces as a child and now I have to deal with having crooked and cavity prone teeth as a result. I can't afford braces.
